This is my good friends Carrie and Blake.. Carrie is about to take over the music industry and Blake is a fellow photographer, you can check out his work here.. I had the honor to be able to capture their rock'n wedding and let me say it was awesome.. They had their ceremony and reception down in Galveston Tx at the Hotel Galvez.
Carrie and Blake: Never give up on the dreams the God has placed inside of you.. I know that you will conquer everything in your path.. It's an honor to call you two friends.. You both are world changers, don't ever forget that... love you both!
So here's a small taste of their day!!

I got the honor of being able to shoot a friend of mine's wedding, but the cool thing is Blake's a fellow Photog himself :) I'll write more later when the full blog is up, but until then, here's a "lil quicky" from the wedding.. I can't wait to get the rest up!!

First of all, congrats to Cassidy and Cliff.. Their wedding on Saturday is one to be remembered.. The wedding took place out in Palestine Tx. It was an outdoor wedding, with details that made me smile.. We had a small issue though, it was raining.. As we know (well, if you live in Texas) the weather tends to change almost instantly.. the forecast had it at 10% chance of rain all day.. but as soon as Clare and I got there the rain started.. But with a lil love from above the wedding party and the guests only had to sit through the ceremony with a light sprinkle.. it made for some amazing shots though. Their wedding was perfect, and everyone had an amazing time.. I want to give just a quick glimpse into the day..
I can't wait to show you the rest, but first I need to submit this wedding to a couple of magazines..

Last night was awesome.. Shannon and Justin tied the knot and the wedding was amazing!! I just wanted to post a quicky of one of my fav's from last nights festivities..

I'm really excited about this post.. Carey and John Mark were one of those amazing couples that really knew what they wanted and more importantly didn't want.. this was not you typical "Houston" wedding.. That's what I love!!
To my future Brides: Tradition is ok, but more important is making your wedding reflect you, not what others have done before you, or even what your parents did.. I know that's hard to swallow, but trust me, you will forever be way happier with your wedding day if you take the time to make it reflect who you and your future husband are.. if not, you'll look back and wonder?? what if? and that my friends is a bad place to be..
Ok, now back to my BA couple.. We had a great time capturing something that was pure and artist.. We started at the Magnolia hotel with the getting ready shots, then we moved to Sonja Roesche Gallery where the wedding and the reception was held.. and it was amazing.. Dang!! that's an understatement.. ;)
To my amazing couple: it was truly and honor for me to play such a small part in your lives.. I see your love for one another and it's amazing.. Keep rock'n and never settle.. I wish you both all the best over and over again... :)
So here's what you all been waiting for.. Carey+John Mark..
